With Christmas round the corner, everything else other than the preparations have taken a back seat. Like every year this time also everyone is too excited for the party that we are throwing (hey don’t worry I am not a millionaire, it is just that I work with an event management company) as they simply love the creative ideas we have adopted time and again. Though this adds a little bit to our problems as coming out with different ideas every time is quite a task. But at the same time this is what adds to our credibility. It was earlier in the week that I was sitting in the stairs and thinking about what different we should do this Christmas. I was sure that the decoration would be full of colors and trees with the lights glowing everywhere.

All of a sudden this idea came to me. I thought that why not give someone from the audience a chance to be Santa! I was sure of the idea as it will force the people to get involved with the whole party theme. Apart from this I thought about giving people Santa teddy bears as a token of attending the party and not to forget the beautifully decorated Christmas trees as a gift to the winner of the games.

With everyone’s concession, we started preparing and got a great response from the audience. Our mailboxes were flooded with emails and the trick actually worked, the people got very much involved with the whole thing. In our quest to not add any financial burden on the winner of the contest we decided that we will provide the fancy dress outfits.

Now that Christmas is just a few weeks away I am all excited to see the people’s reaction to the try. After all if they love it we will have to think something else for the next Christmas and in case it is just the opposite, then again we will have to think something (though it is sure that it is going to be the first case).
